We're Seeking a New Board: Are You Interested?
The Slow Food Corvallis board has been trying to recruit new members for a couple years now. The four of us who have remained on the board decided that we do not have the capacity to continue leading the organization.
Before we close the door on Slow Food Corvallis, we would like to offer it up to new leaders. It has a website and payment system, a mailing list of over 400 people, and a long history of sponsoring enjoyable events. Are you interested? It would have to be a minimum of three people who can fill the roles of Chair, Secretary, and Treasurer. Here’s a chance to create food-related events of your dreams and to support good, clean and fair food locally and internationally. We are willing to meet with teams of people and answer questions.
