Slow Food Corvallis held its 2020 general meeting and potluck on Sunday, January 12, at the Tunison Community Center, on Tunison Road in South Corvallis. Some thirty people came, and the room was just the right size for the group. Participants brought a wide variety of delicious potluck dishes, some wine, and an especially impressive array of desserts.
President Marilyn Henderson reviewed our events of 2019, and Larry Lev led a brainstorming session to gather ideas for 2020 events. Among the most popular ideas were wine making, a Central American cooking lesson, a themed dinner at the Dizzy Hen in Philomath, a visit to Lucky Crow Farm, a talk on perry, and a talk on the history of restaurants. Linda Zielinski was unanimously re-elected to the board.
