In September of 2010, Slow Food USA held a national “Dig-In” activity. Chapters around the country were encouraged to participate in a day of work to help strengthen our food system, and make good, clean, fair food accessible to all.

On Dig-In day, Slow Food Corvallis held a table at the Corvallis Saturday Farmers’ Market, at which we informed the public about Slow Food’s goals and activities. We signed up interested people to participate in our “Repack Day” which was scheduled for the next month, at Linn-Benton Food Share.
