The map below shows community gardens in the Corvallis area for use in the Corvallis Sustainability Coalitions “2023 Garden Resource Guide.” It was created by Janis Brehler, a current SFC board member and a student in OSU’s Food in Culture and Social Justice Program.
The FCSJ Program offers undergraduate and graduate students a unique opportunity to apply their classroom knowledge about the myriad ways food holds meaning and how food can be a tool of both injustice and justice. Through conducting community-based projects, students put their knowledge into practice for making a tangible impact while also developing valuable skills and expanding their networks.
