Tomato and Cucumber Salad

  • 1/2 an onion (any kind) thinly sliced
  • 4 tomatoes cut in half thinly sliced
  • 1/2 an English cucumber cut in half then thinly sliced
  • Mustard oil 1-2 tbsp
  • 1 serrano chile seeded, minced (optional, if you don’t like it spicy)
  • 1/4 cup cilantro
  • 1 tsp salt


  • Put all the ingredients in a medium size bowl
  • Toss it together with a spoon.
  • Check to see if more salt is needed.
