On Saturday, November 20, 2010, Friends of Slow Food Corvallis gathered at the Linn Benton Food Share program warehouse in Tangent. There, the group of 30 people of all ages and walks of life—primary, high school, and college students, university faculty, doctors, artists, Moms, Dads, retired people—learned about the dimensions of hunger in our local counties. We re-packed frozen vegetables donated by Stahlbush Island farms into smaller containers for distribution at local soup kitchens and food pantries throughout the region.

As you can see from the photos, a great time was had by the entire group, as we engaged in this activity to improve access to GOOD, CLEAN, FAIR food for all.
