Terra Madre Day 2014: Our Thank Yous!

Terra Madre Day 2014 was a great success! We sold over 100 curry dinners on Sunday (December 7), raising funds to help support our ongoing programs. A big Thank You goes out to these local producers who donated food and cooking space :

  • Owners John Eveland and Sally Brewer of Gathering Together Farm for use of their restaurant kitchen to prepare the curry dinner and Chef JC Mersmann for his helpful culinary guidance.
  • Rain Sheep Lamb for the delicious lamb that made our Lamb & Potato Curry such a delectable success on a cold winter’s day.
  • Carol Deppe of Fertile Valley Seeds whose Sweet Meat – Oregon Homestead Winter Squash made our Futari (Tanzanian Coconut Squash) especially delightful.

And our appreciation to all of the Slow Food Corvallis supporters who joined us for the Terra Madre Day celebration!
